I am already starting my spring wardrobe list and this is what I'm loving:

A trench coat (preferably black)
A floral flowy top
Khakis
A new COACH bag or Chanel
Makeup (hmmm I am gonna try to wear less this spring or stick to my chanel bronze universal, mac blush and a hint of glass and mascara)
Fun dresses and keep wearing my maxi dresses which I love in the spring and I'm also loving polka dots.

It seems a lot of this upcoming season including ice cream colors and polka dots is reminding me of my 9th grade year in high school scary but true!!

Revlon ColorBurst Lipsticks

My trip to ULTA today uncovered a new Revlon obsession...Revlon colorburst lipsticks.

The lipsticks normally retail for $8.99 each, which is still a decent price for a drugstore lipstick. Coverage is also pretty good - Rosy Nude is my current favorite.
It gives your lips a nice pink pout color which is what I love!

The packaging is matte black with a diamond pattern on 2 sides and the shade on top.
I am in love with the rosy nude...I would almost say its a MAC dupe for Syrup...but go check them out and you be the judge!

My skincare routine.....

I have a different skin care regimen in the winter than I do in the summer.
So here is my winter skin care routine...I moisturize obsessively and found the Cetaphil moisturizer is the best!! I usually get dry patches on my forehead and cheeks but since using this stuff I do not.

I started using this cleanser:Purpose Gentle cleaning wash, has a pleasant smell and it even takes off my eye makeup. I highly recommend this face wash if you have sensitive skin like me this cleanser is the best!

Also I switch to Estee Lauder Soft Clean and tissue this off when I need an extra moisturizing face cleansing. I found this at the CCO.

Every morning I wash my face with cold water only, follow by moisturizer and then the garnier anti-puff roller pen to depuff my sleepy eyes. I then apply foundation primer and begin my day to day makeup look for work.

Next on sundays I start my week with a mask, I really like the biore self-heating masks or I also like the Montagne Jennesse Chocolate Masque it is for deep pore cleansing and can be found at ULTA (not pictured)

Also on sundays I use my clinique toner in #2, for cleansing of my T-zone, then I use my iskin vibrating cleaner brush from sally beauty supply with the iskin cleanser. I sometimes also use the earth theraputics face exfoliator pictured when I dont want to use the iskin system.

Lastly at night I use the Korres gentle eye remover, Purpose skin cleanser followed by Cetaphil moisturizer.

I have found that every night you must remove all of your eye makeup and makeup in general. Good skin starts with clean skin! I think its also important not to pick at your pimples, touch your face or pull on your eye area which cause wrinkles. I am very particular about this as I'm getting older. I will follow my winter routine by telling you all of my spring/summer routine.

Remember good skin also starts from the inside out...drink lots of water, wash your face nightly and do not touch your face too much!

I watched the review and decided I'd give it a try as well...I did notice this is quite shimmery and I would almost compare it to MACs hyperreal foundation.
I'm gonna try this tonight....I purchased this at Target for 9.99 and it came with a mini foundation brush. Here is a pic of me wearing the foundation last night..love it!!

I just wanted to wish all of my wonderful followers a Happy New Year!!! I am ready for 2009 to be over. This has been a tough year for me...I ended a long term relationship and that was very rough for me....in the end it ended up being the best thing for me and my life. He and I continue to stay in touch but I am ready to start the new year with a clean slate.

I also think this upcoming year will also be a continued focus on my health...I love working out and keeping in shape...as I get older I realize how important this is for my well-being.

I will also continue to keep God as the center of my life...I feel I have lost my way a little on this and want to get back to the basics of my christian life. God is my deejay.

Lastly this year I will also focus on my relationships, friends and if I'm lucky to meet someone new then so be that as well. I do feel very blessed that I have the people I do have...my friends and parents are my world.

I wish everyone a wonderful, healthy and happy 2010!!!

Dry oil spray in Peach Blossom and Guava Passion...not only do these dry oils smell amazing but after a hot shower in the winter spray these babies on and your skin is instantly drenched in oil that drys fast, smells amazing and did I mention your dry winter skin will thank you? I love these!

While in sephora they had a deal if you buy two sephora bath products you get this plastic tub wit hthe sephora logo on it. I am a fan of the Lancome artliner but find it lays a "heavy" line. So I recently had a coupon for a buy one get one with nyc makeup...off to target and went and picked up the NYC liner in black...it provides a nice streamlined line and not too heavy..soo I'm torn between the drugstore brand and the staple Lancome art liner...what liners have you guys torn these days?

rimmel eybrow pencil, and the Wet n Wild eye makeup remover, I also hit pan on chanel Blush in tempting...I'm sentimental on the chanel blush as its discontinued as stated by the chanel counters in two of my stores:(....heres to 3 to go!!

This is not as easy as it looks...I see all kinds of holiday sets and NARS blushes I am currently lusting over...I shall remain strong!

Last year I redid a desk as a vanity and sicne a move or two it since has been sent to another home. So in the meantime I have my MALM five drawer chest and its been great for storage but I noticed since I dont "see" the items I tend to not use them. I admit if things arent in front of me I forget I have them! I even found a vanilla body lotion from LUSH that I didnt know I had! YEA! Anyways on to my new set-up.

I put this desk together today and it took me about 3 hours, you can find it at big lots for $119. Its perfect with drawers and slots for my palettes.

Vanity counter container

In this container I place all my daily makeup and items that I use everyday and I dont want to reach for them in my storage drawers it gives me quick access to them and makes getting ready a snap. This bottle of Evian keeps popping around around my city in bargain stores like Big Lots...not sure why now but dont remember seeing this before. I keep them all over in the bathroom and kitchen and use the bottle to fill my spritzer bottles for my face.
Bonus the bottle is so pretty that is looks gorgeous on the countertop.

Jergens natural Face glow in Medium ( I love this as I am mighty pale in the winter)
Maybelline expert eyes wipes
Neutrogena lip gloss ( I do not like this at all, the smell the taste the feel ick)
Rimmel Mousse Blush in Juicy Lychee (this is such a pretty color and has such a nice finish…check these out! Very similar to Maybelline mousse blush
Rimmel Primer in 001…not sure how I feel about this primer…I’ll get back to ya!
Revlon colorstay Mineral Lipglaze in Neverending Nude…I love love love this lipglaze…far better than sticky MAC glass etc This is the perfect nude lip glaze, feels great on
Doesn’t dry your lips…I am loving Revlon lately!! They have really stepped up the plate with the “Colorstay series”!

Covergirl Lashblast length ( I really don’t like this mascara at all!! I love the original lash blast and the Maybelline lash stylist

A weeks or so ago I tweeted about Walmart now carries the brand Hard Candy that was discontinued:
I purchased so far two blushes and a lip plumper and I am loving them so far!!
I bought the pink blush in “Living Doll” and I have used it everyday since…I swear it’s a dup for Stark Naked by Mac
Which is a favorite of mine! The brown blush which name escape me at the moment…I have not tried cause I’m stuck on living doll.
Price range for this line is from $5.00-$10.00 and I definitely planning on purchasing more items. I think the quality still exists for this brand even
Though being sold at wal-mart. I have noticed its not at every wal-mart it seems only a select few carry this line but I encourage you to go

Rimmels Just so is a a just pinched lips color that plays up my lips..I love how it gives such a nice pop of color.

Rimmels Airy Fairy is a favorite across the Youtube community but it lives up to the hype. I love the light pink wash of color
It provides. This I bought as a backup cause I am almost done using my old one.

Halloween Costume Idea!!

What is everyone thinking of for a Halloween costume this year?
I came up with several ideas and narrowed it down to Queen of Hearts,Goth Vampire and 70s costume.
I always loved Pam Grier as Foxy Brown and Beyonce as Foxy Cleopatra….so this year I am going as
Foxy Cleopatra….Sexy Suga!!
This is such an easy costume, Afro in your hair color, Gold makeup look, Foxy necklace
And a 70s outfit that can be found at your local goodwill or ebay.
I will post some pics soon of what I got and the makeup look.
I love the 70s and this is my little homage to the 70s;)

Bargain alert!! This product is great if you want a little color under your foundation or moisturizer with color. I use this before I put on my foundation and I swear it give me a little glow. My friends often comment that although they know I like to create makeup looks that I always look natural...thats my goal...you wont ever see me looking like I painted my face...my grandmas always said less is more...My gram had style and flair that I know she handed down to me...;)

My favorite three this month:
Maybelline Lash Stiletto still a huge favorite of mine. I love the coverage and thickness it gives to my lashes!

Maybelline Pulse Perfection..Still love this just as good (but cheaper) than the Lancome mascara. This mascara is my HG of drugstore mascaras....

Maybelline Lash Stylist...this was a surprise love...ironically I didnt not to expect ot love this mascara as much as I do. It hads a great brush, it seperated the lashes and even works well on the lower lashes..yep its love;)

Three mascaras that left...

Maybelline XXL Curl power..this mascara does not curl...it does not work at all.

Rimmel Glam Eyes Lash Flirt...I fell out of love with this mascara cant explain it...It did not do anything special to my lashes...just meh!

Loreal HIP mascara the smell, the consistency not sure why I bought this mascara but I will not be rebuying.
